When it comes to the processing methods of
Industrial Aluminum Profiles, it is necessary to clarify whether it refers to changing the structure of the aluminum profile or the surface processing technology. Generally speaking, the structure of the aluminum profile can be easily changed through CNC lathe [2]. Milling, drilling, tapping, stamping, bending and other processes can achieve deep processing, especially when applied to aluminum shells and some mechanical structural components.
Other surface treatment processes are as follows:
1. Sandblasting process
The process of cleaning and roughening metal surfaces using the impact of high-speed sand flow. This method can achieve a certain degree of cleanliness and different roughness on the surface of the workpiece, improve the mechanical properties of the workpiece surface, and thus enhance the fatigue resistance of the workpiece.
2. Polishing
The processing method of using mechanical, chemical, or electrochemical methods to reduce the surface roughness of automotive aluminum parts in order to obtain a bright and smooth surface. The polishing process is mainly divided into mechanical polishing, chemical polishing, and electrolytic polishing.
3. Wire drawing
Metal wire drawing is the manufacturing process of repeatedly scraping aluminum plates into lines with sandpaper. Wire drawing can be divided into straight line drawing, random line drawing, spiral line drawing, and thread drawing.
4. Anodizing
Anodizing refers to the electrochemical oxidation of metals, in which aluminum and its alloys form a layer of oxide film on aluminum products (anodes) under the action of external current in corresponding electrolytes and specific process conditions. Anodizing can not only solve the defects of aluminum surface hardness, wear resistance, etc., but also extend the service life of aluminum and enhance its aesthetics.
