Manufacturing of aluminum radiators
 
The manufacture of aluminum radiators is a complex and delicate process, mainly including raw material preparation, molding, surface treatment and assembly steps.
 
Raw material preparation: First of all, it is necessary to choose the aluminum alloy material suitable for making the radiator. Aluminum alloys are ideal for radiators because of their good thermal conductivity and light weight. The selection of materials should consider factors such as thermal performance, mechanical strength and cost.
Forming process:
Extrusion molding: This is one of the most common methods for manufacturing aluminum radiators. By placing the heated aluminum alloy blank into the extruder, it is passed through the mold under high pressure to form the desired shape of the heat sink.
Die casting molding: For some radiator with complex structure, die casting process can be used. This method enables the manufacture of heat sinks with fine structure, but the cost is relatively high.

Surface treatment: In order to improve the corrosion resistance, beauty and thermal radiation efficiency of the radiator, the finished product is usually treated. Common treatment methods include anodizing, electroplating or spraying. Among them, anodizing can not only enhance the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of aluminum, but also provide a variety of color options to meet different design needs.
Assembly: If the radiator consists of multiple parts, it needs to be assembled after surface treatment. This may involve welding, riveting, or using screws to attach the components.
Quality inspection: The last step is to carry out strict quality inspection of the finished product, including dimensional accuracy inspection, appearance defect inspection and performance testing (such as heat dissipation efficiency), etc., to ensure that each product meets the standards.
Through the above steps, a high-efficiency aluminum radiator is created. This process requires not only precise technical operation, but also a deep understanding of materials science to ensure the quality and performance of the final product.
